I can make it! I exclaimed walking out of the store. As a particular girl who likes what she likes and expects nothing less- I whipped out a pencil to sketch the image of the skirt that I wanted.
My mother taught me how to crochet when I was 18. From one awful looking scarf after the next- I didn't mind being horrible because crocheting brings about a comfort and a sense of ease that is beyond walking down any beach (believe me- I've been to many!) The fantastic part was as I improved- my mind weaved designs and colors that couldn't be matched at any store. When I became picky I just decided to make my own.
Hours upon hours of creating my own skirts- one design inspired the next, that birthed the next, and so on... It is a creation of my own that I am most proud of.
After wearing these skirts, I received a wave compliments that felt even better to say- I made it!
And so- I share this with you. Some of these designs can be turned inside out for a new outfit. But better yet- my skirts will challenge you to come up with new ways to wear them. New ways to show a different wonderful facet of yourself. Dress them up with heels for a dangerous sexy you going for a night on the town.
